Chris Hale has over 25 years’ experience in the practice of intellectual property law, most spent as a partner at one of Canada’s oldest and largest national law firms, based in the Toronto office and serving clients nationally.

Throughout his career, Chris has represented clients ranging in size and scope from Dow Jones multinationals and TSX listed public companies, through SMEs in a wide range of industries, and not-for profits, to inventors, artists and entrepreneurs starting to develop their ideas and build their dreams.

Chris is a graduate of Dalhousie University with degrees in chemistry and law, called to the Ontario Bar, a registered trade-mark agent, and certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a specialist in intellectual property (trademarks and copyright) law.

Chris has been identified as a recommended intellectual property practitioner in Best Lawyers in Canada, Chambers Global, and the WTR 1000.
